Catholic Guidance and Inspiration For Today's World

Our Pope and Our Faith and a Walk

Jesus With ChildrenRecently I have been reading excerpts from interviews with Pope Francis. His simple message of walking with Jesus and keeping focused on God sounds so easy. Yet, to do this daily takes a strong commitment to our faith and love of Jesus. I choose to do this and know that my feet will veer off the path, and HE will be there to place me back on the way. I must keep my eyes focused on him when I want to look the other way or begin to head in a wrong direction for me. Staying centered requires aligning your heart, soul mind and body with HIM. Our Mother Mary is a great support on this journey and her constant intersession gives me strength to continue on. As a wife, mother, and friend, I need to be that example of love and joy only found in Our Lord Jesus Christ. For we are one when we share in his banquet. I quiet myself each day and contemplate what the Lord wants of me that day. A simple walk with him in his love is the best way to start the journey. Help other parents as they try to get up from a fall on the path, or have stepped off. For isn’t that what Jesus has taught us.
